Within the framework of Abdul Latif Jameel (ALJ) Grant for funding scientific research in the Arab world, a team of Arab researchers are currently working on manufacturing a device for controlling fetal distress conditions. The anticipated device has an early warning system technology aiming at a constant control of embryos to ensure their safety. In addition to providing an early warning, this device performs a constant control of the embryos and makes the necessary alarm when there is any disorder; therefore, the embryo is protected against any harming or fatal risks. This invented technology depends upon the use of artificial intelligence and control technology which is used for detecting and evaluating the risks to which fetus are exposed and consequently die, born immature, suffer from paralysis or mental disorder.
It is worth mentioning that this device is placed under the garments of a pregnant woman in order to control the situation of the embryo or fetus. In case of any danger to the embryo, the device emits instant signals to the pregnant mother.
This project, supported and funded through ALJ Grant for funding scientific research in the Arab world, which is run by the Arab Science and Technology Foundation, is considered a promising one in the field of information and communication technology. It has resulted in magnificent findings regarding this precise calculating technology used in embryo control.
