Dr. Mohamed Ahachad, ASTF’s office manager in Morocco and the supervisor of ASTF’s cooperation programs with the Maghreb countries, participated in international Euro-Mediterranean seminar, which was hosted by the Algerian city “Oran” from 30th – 31May 2012. The Seminar’s activities focused on “research, science, and the innovation for economic development uses”.

Dr. Ahachad presented ASTF’s programs that related to innovation extract with focusing on the Arab Technology Business Plan competition, Made in Arab World Competition, and the researching grants. The feedback of the attendance on ASTF’s innovation extract program was great, and many of the attendee expressed their interest to participate in ASTF’s extract innovation programs.

This seminar come in the frame of big program activities called “TEMPUS”, that was funded from European union, and many European foundation in France, German and Spain and its counterparts of scientific and technological universities and foundations in Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia, from its universities and foundations: l’Institut Nationale Polytechniques de Loraine -France, l’Université Polytechnique de Barcelone - Espagne, l’Université de Karlsruhe – Allemagne.

Dr. Ahachad offer some ASTF stands and brochures to assist the participants to know the foundation’s activities and programs.
