The Arab science and technology foundation (ASTF) participated in the 7th workshop for “Collaborative Innovation Network”, that organized by the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) in the smart village, Cairo, Egypt, on Monday 23rd January 2012. Mr. Abdo Felli – the researcher and Media & communication senior officer of ASTF in the workshop.

The workshop discussed the definition of technology innovation and entrepreneur center, determine the nature of innovation culture, ways to establish technology innovation networks between organizations, and identify the tools and actions to satisfy the needs of the market through produce new product or develop available one, especially for the medium and small technological companies.

Microsoft showed presentation about the networks that were established through the advanced technology innovation laboratory in the company. A lot of governmental centers that related to agriculture ministry, business and industrial men organizations and investors, in additional to many technological companies in Egypt, like: Microsoft, Innovety, wireless start, Masary, and Edge Technology, besides no. of Egyptian universities, including Cairo university, Ain shams university and Helwan university.
