In the light of the tragic events that we lived in, and the fire that damaged the Egyptian scientific center – which was built by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1798 and include more than 200 thousand books from the most rare and unique books, which include “Egypt description” book –, the official Egyptian news agency (Middle east news agency )took some statements from Dr. Abdalla Alnajjar, the president of Arab science and technology foundation – regarding the fire that the scientific center exposed to.

The official news agency titled Dr. Abdalla Alnajjar statements with “the value of Egyptian scientific center exceed the congress library”, as Dr. Abdalla said that the burn of Egyptian scientific center is considered great and massive lose for Egypt, Arab and all the humanity, as its value exceed the value of congress library, as the building of the Egyptian scientific center was built in 1798 and become famous Islamic Monuments, also it include a lot of references books and unique copies it’s age about two century, Also the damage includes “Egypt description” book that considered as great record for Egyptian and the humanity history.

He added: “All the Arab science and technology organization’s staff feel deeply sorry to lose such a great Egyptian and humanity heritage”, also he called all to unite together to save the Egyptian heritage especially that Egypt’s future won’t be separate from its history or its present”.
