The Arab Scientific and Technological Community

The Arab Scientific and Technological Community included a lot of Arab Scientists and Researchers in the field of technology, as well as including some characters who have strong relationships with the international Scientific and Technological communities. Thus the establishment of the Arab Science and Technology Foundation in 2000 was based on 200 Arab Scientists’ recommendations.

ASTF works on supporting the ongoing communication between the Arabic research centers that located all over the Arab world, so this communication effect positively on the Arab Scientific and Technological community inside and outside the Arab region.

Despite of, the Arab world is full of great human resource, but the youth’s performance in the field of science and technology is not organized well. And in the Twenty-one Century, A lot of Arab Scientists immigrate from their countries to developed countries to search for more opportunities to executed their innovations, which result in gap formation between the immigrated scientists and the Scientists that still in their countries.

So ASTF looking forward to organize, develop and stimulate these efforts to support science and technology fields through launching networks the connect the governmental sectors with the private ones, to help in supporting the existing experience in the Arab world, through the integration that take place between the exerts efforts and the encouragement of the collaborative research and experience transfer.
